    Yesterday I ate;

    Lunch:

The entree was a dozen fresh oysters
The main was a big blue eye fillet of steak
The wine was the richest red!

    Dinner:

A huge platter of oysters, Mussles, Squid, King Prawns, Baby octopus, salmon, sushi, fish, and scallops and more stuff
    Port
    Chardonnay

...all with hot bread and salad and stuff...

    I feel so good!

  • stuporman wrote on 4 May '04, 10:13 report
    Thank you for that, Lisa.

I so enjoyed my peanut butter on toast for tea.
  • fang wrote on 4 May '04, 12:19 report
i frequently eat salt and vinegar flavoured chips for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. it's good because i'm too lazy and don't have enough time to cook (yet somehow i manage to find enough time to procrastinate by writing this, hahaha).

  • random poster wrote on 4 May '04, 14:23 report
i broke my "one meal a day" rule is there a theory behind this rule? often, i'll leave out lunch and have a big freshly squeezed juice instead, and just go breakfast and dinner.
  • red messy wrote on 4 May '04, 14:26 report

I'm three meals a day plus extras.

So far today: poached egg, cereal, yoghurt, smoothie, fish and chips, choc chip cookie, fine dark chocolate.

Upcoming: brew by you. "I'm going down to brew by you."

I've got one of those high metabolismy thingys.

A girl after my own heart!

Caught this and 3 other beauties myself about 2 weeks ago, out of the water no longer than 3 hours and into my tum tum. Oysters & abalone are better though.

  • jezzaboogie wrote on 4 May '04, 21:31 report
You gotta get outta that 2-minute noodle scene.

I finished my day off with beers, red wine, more fish and chips, and calamari salad.
  • pang wrote on 4 May '04, 21:47 report
When I was a night-owl and not a barn-owl I created a new meal that replaced Breakfast and was to be eaten really late at night. It kind of had a brunch vibe as far as the food itself was concerned.

It really isn't hard or time consuming to make your own noodles.
  • jezzaboogie wrote on 4 May '04, 21:50 report
All this talk of food. I need more.
Hmmm.... what's in the cupboard ....

Things about metabolic rates slowing down 'cos the body knows it's being starved occur to me. Exercise is your saviour, my fine, feathered, fiend. My gut feeling (based on my complete ignorance of biology) is that the body decides it's going to need to metabolise stuff fast to supply energy for the activity that it's undertaking so yer metabolic rate increases and you process kJ faster.

Probably complete fucking bullshit, though. All I know is that I've lost a gutload of weight and only moderated my eating patterns very slightly by virtue of approximately 1 hour of high-impact exercise on a daily basis.

And, yes, exercise is horrible. Necessary in my advancing years, though.
